The Life Room holds a number of life drawing and painting classes that are open to students of all abilities, whether you’re completely new to the scene or if you’re a seasoned artist, keen to hone your drawing abilities and learn new techniques.
DRAWING CLASSES

The Life Room drawing classes are 2 hour, tutored sessions using a life model. These classes are a continuation of the practice of observational life drawing from the tradition set by The Slade School of Art, London where the tutor, Paul Muzni, trained.

PAINTING CLASSES
Scheduled Sundays
The Life Room Life Painting class is a 4 week course consisting of 3 hour tutored sessions, again using a life model. The poses held by the models are continued throughout a 4 week period to ensure the paintings are sufficiently developed over a longer period of time. As well as painting techniques, students can also expect to learn about relationships between colour, tone, texture and composition as well as consider visual/perceptual questions.
